Nearly 4,600 Egyptian ChatGPT accounts hacked: Report

The hacked data includes login credentials and search queries.

Egypt topped the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, followed by Morocco (2,647), Algeria (2,002) and Turkey (1,922).

According to Group-IB, 101,134 accounts have been hacked worldwide.

The attacks were executed by info-stealing malwares, which steals credentials saved in browsers, bank card details, crypto wallet information, cookies, browsing history and other information from browsers on infected computers.

The report showed that the MEA region had the second highest number of ChatGPT accounts stolen (24.6 percent), following the Asia-Pacific region (40.5 percent).
