The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) intends to support programs of Egypt-based organizations.
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) intends to support programs of Egypt-based organizations which respond directly to Egyptian-identified needs in the area of education development. USAID’s Office of Education and Training proposes to support the establishment and management of state-of-the-art university-based Career Development Centers (CDCs) through a three-year award utilizing Cairo Initiative Workforce Development funding. This APS outlines ideas and possible activities aimed at improving the long-term capacity of Egyptian universities and NGOs to assist students and recent graduates in their transition from education to employment.

Egyptian, U.S. and international organizations are eligible to submit applications under this APS. USAID encourages organizations to submit applications in partnership with other local U.S. or international organizations, including public and private universities.
