The award confirms the recognition of Xceed's constant development and application of International standards for business continuity management.

Mr. Maged Taher CEO, of Xceed commented "The Business Continuity Management Team in Xceed has played an important role in dealing with the current situation in Egypt today."

Eng. Assem Abbasy, a specialist in business continuity at Xceed, also commented saying "The department directly works with all areas in Xceed to determine their needs and aims, whilst developing and implementing programs in advance to avoid obstacles in time of crisis. This can be seen during the unrest over the past period, where Xceed's customers did not suffer any difficulties or registered any complaints."

ISO certification is considered to be one of Xceed's main priorities in its business development. It started in 2004 when the company created the business continuity department. In 2009 it became one of the main pillars of all companies' management, as partners and customers made British standard a requirement of business continuity in their outsourcing needs. Xceed was the first company in Egypt to apply these standards, achieving BS 25999 certification in October 2009.

In 2012 ISO developed a range of standards to evaluate companies in the business continuity sector, this allowed Xceed to apply these standards and eliminate all differences between the applied standards and British standards leading to the achievement of the ISO 22301 certification for business continuity management in July 2013.
