Egypt's agricultural exports to China up in 8 months

The Trade Representation Agency said on Tuesday that Egyptian agricultural exports to China increased in the first eight months of the year 2019 compared to the same period in 2018.

The Egyptian representation office in Beijing said in a report that Egyptian exports of citrus reached 134 million dollars in that period at an increase rate of 65.8 percent compared to the past year.

Egyptian exports of grapes to the Chinese market in that period reached 3.3 million dollars compared to 1.2 million dollars.

Also, strawberry exports hit 11.2 million dollars at an increase rate of around 115 percent compared to the previous year, added the report.
