Egypt Business Directory published the first "Egypt's Top 500 companies" report. On 180 pages the most important Egyptian companies are listed with contact information and a short description of their activities and industry. The report can be downloaded as a PDF without charge.

Ten years ago, Egypt Business Directory published the first "Egypt's Top 100 companies" report. For many years now, his consulting company Absolit has been able to gain in-depth experience as the publisher of an overview of the 5000 most important companies of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. “So why not apply this expertise to an emerging economy like Egypt?” Schwarz declared.
25,800 companies have registered on the egypt-business.com website since its launch in the last ten years. All these companies were included in the present study. The selection of the most important companies is based on the analysis of publicly available sources. The basis for inclusion in this list was, in addition to their headquarter in Egypt, a professional business website, and a profile on the business platform LinkedIn. Based on all data available Absolit applies an algorithm based on artificial intelligence to calculate a score that captures the importance of a company. Based on that score the 500 most important companies have been selected.
