IFC to support Egypt’s healthcare

Cairo, Port Said, Ismailiya, Sinai, Aswan, Luxor, Matrouh and Qena will all be included in the program that will be implemented over 3 years.

The international Finance Corporation (IFC) which is a member of the World Bank Group announced that it will launch a program to support 100 private healthcare providers in Egypt.

The support will be both via investments and advisory on improving their systems and quality assurance.

The program will help Egypt come much closer to achieving its 2030 goal of Universal Health Coverage.

Cairo, Port Said, Ismailiya, Sinai, Aswan, Luxor, Matrouh and Qena will all be included in the program that will be implemented over 3 years, in cooperation with the government of the Netherlands.
