Telecom Egypt awards salaries restructuring system tender to PwC

Telecom Egypt (TE) announced today that PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) was the best bidder in the tender it offered last month for a job assessment and salary restructuring system. PwC offered the best technical and financial bid among 11 local regional and global peers.

Mohammed Abdul Rahim, CEO of TE, expected PwC to deliver its final recommendation within six months from the commencement of its job.


The EGX-listed telco has recently taken several positive steps in favor of its employees. It turned 1206 temporary workers to permanent ones, promoted more than 800.15 others and adjusted the salaries and bonuses of distinguished workers. TE is also currently developing the health care system to include workers as well as their families.
