Singapore and Egypt ink fintech cooperation deal
This will allow both to study regulatory regimes.
The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) inked an agreement on fintech cooperation on 6 February 2018.
According to a press release, the agreement allows both countries to refer fintech companies to each other, in order to understand regulatory regimes.
Under the agreement, MAS and CBE can also explore potential joint innovation projects and share information on emerging FinTech trends.
